FINLEY’S FIELD DAY IS FUN DAY
Field Days will be held:
Kindergarten Monday, May 11th, 9-11 am
1st grade
Monday, May 11th,12 -2 pm
2nd Grade Tuesday, May 12th 9-11am
All events will take
place Rain or Shine. If you would like to volunteer please show up 30 minutes before start of Field day. This includes anyone
who signed up with your child’s classroom to volunteer. Parents are invited to attend even if you can’t volunteer
to help. Room Reps please do not forget balloons are to be delivered Thursday May 7th to the Gym and check off your classroom
on the list. Any questions please emailArlene Driver at fieldday1@fpspta.org. We look forward to a great FUN day for everyone.
ONLY A FEW BOARD POSTIONS REMAIN
Thanks to several dedicated parents, including incoming kindergarten
parents, we have filled some of the open FPS PTA Board positions for 2009-2010. The remaining positions are: President-elect,
2nd Vice President, Car Safety, Clinic and Fall Festival Chair-elect.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We have the best
volunteers at FPS and our children's school is better for it!! Thank you to everyone who has opened car doors, taught
a Cultural Arts class, worked in the clinic, been a Room Rep in your child's classroom, worked in the library, or volunteered
in any other way over the past year! Your PTA's Board of Managers appreciates you! The faculty and staff appreciate you!
The principals appreciate you! And while they may not always show it, the students appreciate you too!!!
SUMMER EXPO TO OFFER A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES
Every year, the FPS PTA is proud to invite area providers
of Kids’ Summer Activities to the Annual Summer Expo.
This is their chance to provide you with the information
you need for a fun summer. Whether you need full-time or part-time summer camps, birthday parties or just fun summer activities
- find it all in one place at the Summer Expo.
Over 30 exhibitors will be here along with activities for the kids. It
is great “one-stop shopping” for all your summer activity needs.
NEW Exhibitors this year include Ripley’s
Aquarium of the Smokies and Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. Many of our exhibitors will be offering special Summer
Expo discounts - available only at Summer Expo.
